The City Tour starts at the Arms Square, one of the most beautiful sites in Peru. From there we trek to the Cathedral, an example of 19th century Peruvian architecture which houses treasures of gold and silver. We will also visit the church of the Company, an ancient Jesuit temple, with a beautiful façade of columns sculpted with spirals, laurel and flower crowns, birds, etc. It is one of the most important churches in Arequipa because of its history and tradition. The day ends at the convent of Santa Catalina, a historic 17th century small city which finally opened to the public in 1970 after 400 years of cloister.
